Be generous in sharing your wealth and help others expand their earning potential and their ability to do good deeds, otherwise becoming rich would be meaningless.

Not all millionaires are truly happy, or feel like they’re living a fulfilling life.  Surveys reveal that only 5% of the rich are satisfied with their lives, which gives us a lot to think about.

The rich who are not willing to share their wealth with others end up feeling more empty inside the richer they get.  Unless you can understand what being wealthy really means, you can’t expect to find happiness in life.

If you don’t know the meaning and purpose of becoming rich, the money you earn is ultimately meaningless.

No matter how wealthy you get, it will all be for nothing if you have no desire to help others with your riches.  You’d only be wasting your whole life struggling to make money yet ending up all empty and miserable inside.

Upon a person’s death, all the wealth he’s gathered in his life will be all but forgotten and irrelevant, while all his good deeds, charity, and contributions to society will live on in people’s mind.

The riches you manage to procure in life will ultimately be forgotten.  Only the contributions you make in changing our society for the better can become your legacy that will forever be remembered.

Before you teach a person how to become a rich man, you must first guide him to truly understand what wealth means.

All men should learn to gain a health perspective of money, in addition to how to earn it.  Furthermore, they should learn how to use the money to build a more fulfilling life.

10*
Without a healthy view of money, more money would only be bringing more problems into your life.

Money is supposed to help solve people’s problems in life instead of introducing new ones.

Money should bring you happiness, not add to your troubles.  Yet too much money usually means more problems.

If your life’s purpose is nothing more than the accumulation of wealth, you’d be acting out of greed which will ultimately be your doom.

Before setting out to make money, you must first learn what it truly means to be rich, for if you wait until you’ve already become a millionaire, it will be too late.

Don’t take any money that is not rightfully yours, for illegally procured wealth means punishment by the law.

The means by which you make money should also create value for others, like being a construction engineer, or a real estate developer.

The process with which you build your wealth should also yield products or services of value that will benefit others.  The higher the value you provide, the more satisfied others will be with their purchase, which in turn guarantees you ever-rising revenues.

The more people benefit from your service, the more money you’ll make.  There is no limit to how much you can make; it all depends on the amount of people you manage to help out.

The quality of the products and services you offer can only be guaranteed if you love your customers, for when you lose customers you lose money, which is why without love you can’t get rich.

Many say that it takes no more than hard work to become rich, but Rich Dad and Rich Mom will tell you that when you give your love wholeheartedly, you will become rich.

If you’re working for no reason other than making a living for yourself and your family, you may never be happy with your job.  The only way you can be happy with what you do is when your work can help out other people.

You’ll never make big money unless you can find joy in your work.

If you can’t find enjoyment in your career, your job would become a constant torment and a source of misery to you which will prevent you from focusing your effort in making money and creating wealth for yourself.

Whether you’re building a career or running a business, it will require lots of stamina and your undivided attention, which you will have a hard time maintaining unless you find great joy in what you do.

Whatever it is that you’ve taken on as your career, it won’t develop into something that can make you rich unless you’re excited about what you do and are proud of your accomplishments.

If there’s no love in what you do, you’ll never be happy at work.

If you do not enjoy what you do for a living, you won’t be able to stay focused enough to do your job well, and certainly not able to get rich doing it.

You have to first learn to enjoy what you do to gain fulfillment, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment; otherwise your career will go nowhere.

As long as you’re happy with your career, you’ll be willing to invest more time and energy doing your job.  When the line between work and interest begins to fade, you will truly love what you do.

As long as you can enjoy your work, it doesn’t matter which career path you choose, you are bound to become rich.

If you can find immense enjoyment in your work, you will never find your job tiresome.  When you go to work not for the salary, but for the fun of it, you are sure to become rich.

Love your job, and concentrate on increasing your passion and the quality of your customer service.  Your ultimate goal in customer service should be to provide satisfaction and value to your customers, not profitability.  As long as you can keep raising the bar on your passion and the quality of your service, you will make more and more money.

When your customers are hooked on your products or services, you know your business is a successful one.

The fact that you enjoy your work does not guarantee high income by itself.  The most ideal scenario is where your interest and your career are one and the same, so that you can make money while being happy.

Profitability should come before your interests when the two are in conflict.  If you don’t put profitability before enjoyment, you won’t make much money.  That’s the difference between a career and a hobby.

You should strive to make more money before indulging yourself in life, not the other way around.  You can’t get rich by indulging yourself.  While you should enjoy your work, it should not be the priority, which is still profitability; otherwise it would be impossible to build a successful career and make a fortune.

To be successful in your career, your primary goal should be to make money.  If your main concern is to have a good time, your lack of motivation and focus will compromise your ability to make money and sabotage your career.

When you’re still struggling to make a living, making money is more important than enjoying yourself at work.  However, when you’ve already found a certain level of financial success, being happy with your career path should begin to take priority.

If you wish to succeed in getting rich, you have to focus your energy on making more money.  Provided that you must enjoy your work, profitability should remain your primary objective.

There can be no quality services if you don’t care about your customers, and without quality services you business will never prosper.

To create a perfect business, you have to seek a balance between its many facets: care for the customers, quality of your services, your interest in what you do, and finally, the profitability of what you do.

Never seek profits by means which are immoral or illegal.

If your quest for wealth and glory turns into a blind obsession, it will be your doom.

Profitability is important, but obtaining it legitimately is even more important.

If you’ve already struck rich, it would be a pleasant and fulfilling thing to do if you can pass on your experiences in finance to others so that they may become wealthy as well.

If your teaching and guidance manage to help the poor find their way to wealth, you will have done a good deed.  On the other hand, being rich and yet merciless is a sin to be condemned.

It is a rich man’s responsibility to help others become wealthy.

Learn to apply the principle of leverage in life, and achieve greatness with minimal efforts.  Be it in financial maneuvers, the allocation of one’s time, the acquisition of knowledge, the maintenance of one’s health, being a better partner in romance, evaluation of investment opportunities, intuition on when to take action, or gaining the upper hand in competition, there are always leverages a sharp mind can find and exploit.

A great craftsman must first keep his tools sharpened.  Make use of all of your resources, and learn to apply the principle of leverage in business—you’ll see how getting rich is really not that hard.

Making money is easy; the real challenge is staying wealthy.

Many rich men find money easy to make but hard to keep.  They do not know how to properly manage their own finances, so their riches are just gradually eaten away.  Never underestimate the importance of financial planning.

It’s dangerous to leave an inheritance of wealth to your children but not a good set of moral values or financial knowledge.  At the very least, they will just squander everything away, and even possibly get themselves into grave danger doing so.  You have to teach them about the underlying risk of being rich.

It’s not a good idea to spoil your children by letting them inherit all of your riches; it is better to teach them the value of morality and pass on your knowledge in financial planning.

Adequate amount of wealth can help create a happier life, while a mountain of riches usually brings more harm than good in the end.

If you don’t understand the meaning of being wealthy, you’ll have just as many problems being rich as when you were in poverty. The only way for you to free yourself of all burdens is to make money for the public, not just for personal gains.

If you keep all the money in your own pocket, and not let any of it out, it will only add to your worries.  Try taking it out to share it with others, and you will free yourself from a lot of troubles.

As food goes into your body, if nothing comes out, you would be very uncomfortable.  Nature dictates that for you to be healthy, whatever goes in, must come out.

Trying to figure out a way to evade taxes can be very exhausting, so pay your taxes and take the burden off your chest.

Wanting to keep all your money for your own children and not pay any inheritance tax will land you in a world of worries.  If you want to be free of them, pay those taxes because a citizen is supposed to make money for the public.

60*
If you’re making money only for personal gains, you will always be burdened with worries that won’t be there if you were making money for the public instead.

Making money to be shared with the public is a delightful thing to do.  Making money to fill your own pocket will crush you with unneeded burdens.

You can’t gain without giving.  The more you give, the happier you will be.  Anyone who only takes but never gives is bound to be riddled with worries.

Think about how many people out there are obsessed with making a fortune, yet they waste their time on taking instead of giving.  In the end, their due reward is a hapless life.

One should not only focus on creating value in the present but also in creating value in the future.  Furthermore, think about how you can create life value after you pass on, so you never lose your direction and life purpose in the pursuit of wealth.

Becoming rich should never be your goal in life.  A much more worthy objective would be to help others and leave a legacy of love.

You couldn’t be more wrong to think that success equals having large sums of money.  The rich are not necessarily successful.  Similarly, many successful individuals aren’t wealthy at all.

The definition of success goes beyond personal success.  True success means that you are also helping others reach their potential, helping to solve their problems, encouraging them to aspire to greatness, inspiring them to  love, working towards bringing peace and harmony to the world, manifesting beauty and goodness in everything, and, finally, earning the respect of the community.

Helping others is an instinctive act of love.  However our capacity for love is often diminished by greed and selfishness.

Make good use of your time, energy, love, knowledge, wealth and career to serve others, instead of depending on others to serve your needs and desires.

70*
Put aside your own needs and focus on helping other people without asking for compensation—only then will you understand the true meaning of life.

Rich dad and rich mom taught you how to make money, not for you to be a selfish money grabber, but for you to utilize your time, energy, love, knowledge, as well as your wealth to help out more people in need.

The rich should not treat the poor with condescending pity.

The rich should not confine their generosity to the sharing of food and money.

If you only pity the poor and give them handouts, they will never learn to stand up on their own feet.

The best way for the wealthy to help the poor is to teach them how to make money, encourage them to get back on their feet, and train them on how to make a living, instead of giving them a free lunch.

Teaching a man how to fish is better than giving him a fish.

The wisdom to acquire wealth is far more important than wealth itself.  Teaching a man how to make money is far more useful than putting a meal in front of him.

The acquisition of wealth is only a small part of life.  A successful man knows how to share his wealth and spread the message of love.

You won’t stay happy unless you share your happiness.  You won’t get rich if you’re unwilling to share what money you have.

Riches you lock up in a safe are useless.  Money sitting in your pocket accomplishes nothing.  Only when you share your wealth does it begin to do wonders.

Knowing how to make money is not enough, for money by itself is ultimately meaningless.  You must learn to help other people by sharing your wealth to give meaning to that money.

The true purpose of creating wealth is to be able to generously share your love, your wealth, your experience and your wisdom with others.  Furthermore, you’ll be able to teach others and inspire them to make money and do good deeds.

If you’re unwilling to share your own experiences finding success to help others reach their dreams, you are simply being selfish.

By refusing to learn from the experiences of the successful, you’d be hurting your own future.

Wealth isn’t the source of happiness.  In fact for some people, the richer they get, the more miserable they become. This is because they don’t understand the meaning of sharing—the more you share, the happier you’ll get.

Happiness that can’t be shared isn’t true happiness.

If happiness cannot be shared out in the open and enjoyed by many, it is not true happiness.

Real lasting wealth never stems from selfishness, but instead comes from good deeds and helping others find wealth as well.

Share your success with your friends and ask for nothing in return; your life will become even more pleasant and fulfilling.

True success comes from sharing your success with others to maximize its effects.

A person with no sense of social responsibility will never be regarded as a rich man even if he has all the money in the world.

Someone who’s obsessed with the pursuit of riches can never discover true happiness.

A rich man who can never be happy is more pitiful than a penniless man.  If you seek lasting wealth, you must first learn to care about others and help them out when they’re in need.  If you can do this, you will be the wealthiest man in the world regardless of how much money you actually have.

Lasting wealth comes from sharing and good deeds, and your willingness to help others get rich themselves.

If you want to be a rich man, you have to contribute to society in kind.  If you’re only accumulating massive wealth for your own selfish gains, that wealth will lose its value entirely.

If you own half a million dollars, you have a lot of cash to spend.  If you have ten million dollars, they become capital for investments. If your wealth is in the billions, it should be regarded as a resource for the whole society, one that you should manage with care so that it can best benefit your fellow human beings.

If you’re a millionaire, you carry an even greater social responsibility than the average guy.  Manage your business well so as to benefit the society as a whole.

You’re able to earn millions because of the opportunities that society gave you.  Now that you are a millionaire, it’s your turn to give back to society, helping to make it safer and more prosperous for everyone.

An honest praise can make a man happy for months, and a helping hand can give him a better life.  An act of selfless giving can bring warmth to this world; while a movement to save energy and reduce carbon emission can help our planet regain its former beauty.

A loving heart, a giving spirit, a simple advice, an invention, an innovation, or a thriving business—all of which can help make the world a better place.

A successful man will generously pass his secrets onto others so that they may find success of their own.  This creates a cycle will benefit the entire human race.
